Bio 21 Questions Blog Promotion
  1. Who is your favorite literary character?

Not sure. I’ll have to get back to you on that one.

  2. If you could make a cameo appearance in a show, what show would it be?

A while back I got addicted to Project Runway. I’m sort of a fashion buff (living in New York City will do that to you). Would kill to be a guest judge on that show for a day. Strange, but true.

  3. What is your greatest fear?

I would probably have to say sharks. I grew up in Florida and didn’t venture too far into the water because of a fear of sharks. Can barely watch Shark Week. Those sharks are gangsta!

  4. One thing you could eat for the rest of your life?

    Fruit. Any kind.

  5. Favorite movie? Worst movie?

Favorite movie is probably the Empire Strikes Back. I saw it in the theaters back in the day. Best of the trilogy. Worst movie? That’s a tough one. There are so many to choose from. But anything with Mark Walberg has to be bad.

  6. If you could be born again into any era, which would you choose?...or if you could come back as a historical figure/anyone, who would it be?

That’s easy. I’ve always wanted to know what it was like to grow up in the Civil Rights era. I used to fell so jealous of my parents because their generation had something to fight for. Us Gen-Xers just complain. Historical figure? Probably Malcolm X.

  7. Last text message I sent...

Was a friend in the neighborhood. I told her I was too lazy to go running at 8 in the morning.

  8. What is your motto?

“There is either do, or do not. There is no try.” – Yoda

  9. What song do you have on repeat?

    “Lo Veras” by Chambao

  10. Ultimate vacation?

Just lounging on a beach anywhere in Brazil (which I will be doing in a few weeks).

  11. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

    Becoming a syndicated cartoonist.

  12. What is your favorite cartoon/comic character?

It’s probably that “A Pimp Named Slickback” character from “The Boondocks” show. Reminds me of so many people from where I grew up.

  13. If you weren't drawing, what would you be doing?

I can’t even imagine not drawing, but I would say I’d probably be playing trumpet in a jazz band somewhere.

  14. My biggest pet peeve is...

People who don’t pick up after their dogs. Dodging dog crap on the sidewalks of New York is just not fun.

  15. Who do you admire/who is your role model?

I admire Miles Davis (for his genious), My mother (for her wisdom), Tom Ford (for his aesthetic) and President Obama (for his courage).

  16. When was the last time you laughed really hard?

I think it was when I was out with friends in a Tampa lounge a while back. Good times.

  17. One thing you couldn’t live without?

Running. It’s what gives me balance in life. I feel weird if I go to many days without hitting the running trail.

  18. Guilty pleasure?

Traveling around the world. And chocolate

  19. What is your greatest extravagance?

Probably that Movado watch a dropped mad coin for a few years back (which doesn’t work now).

  20. The best advice you've ever gotten?

My mother once told me “son, if you want something then make it come true.” I still live by that advice.
