About John Forgetta
John created “The Meaning of Lila” almost ten years ago as a tribute to the special women in his life who make an extraordinary difference in the world just by being there. John’s entire life has been a quest for useless objects d’art, creature comforts, and afternoon naps and has achieved this dream by living beyond his means and hoping that he wins the lottery by the time he’s old and can’t afford long term care.
L.A. Rose represents the people behind the comic strip’s success, including John’s dear friends, Kathy Dow and Joe Bahhur, who inspire him with copy and two talented illustrators, Tony Calabro and Justin Raines. Without these people, John would be writing mind-numbing corporate copy every day. Oh, wait…he is.
